My Journey the third time is a charm

In 2009 I was dx with Kidney Cancer and my right kidney was removed. It is now 2014 and I am facing Kidney Cancer again. A mass has appeared on my adrenal gland it is the size of an asprin. How could something small be deadly. I will start with 5 weeks of radiation I will be post my progress, I find that writing helps maintain my sanity. It is my hope that someone will find encouragement though my journey as they go thru theirs. Life is what you make of it. If you keep getting lemons, make lemonade and sell it..Keep yourself busy. If being around others is to much for you. Then pray and read the word and ask God o help you to decide who you should separate yourself from to avoid stress. Sometimes family don't understand what you are going thru and they can be in denial. You know it is not just a river in Egypt...lol.

Your adrenal gland does a lot for your body. It produces hormones and helps with endurance. Doctors are able to maintain your hormones thru medications should your adrenal gland be destroyed you can still live with no adrenal glands I am hope for a wonderful quality of life. I believe if I keep my spirits up and stay positive! I will beat this and come out just fine with a great quality of life.

Many things are hitting us and we are having to pay 20% of all my medical bills is going to hit us hard. we don't qualify for programs so we are face with out of pocket. I don't know how much 5 weeks of radiation is going to be. Nor do I know if they are going to cover the chemo pills after I am done. I have a paypal account and I will take donation.
